- Community: Bringing people together to share their experiences and commemorate
- Integrity: Transparent accountability operation-100% volunteer organization working to raise awareness and financial support for the T2T foundation
- Inclusion: Welcome riders of all ability levels
- Impact: Making a measurable difference for those in need in our region
Our Story
The Never Forget Ride began in 2020, when a group of cycling friends commemorated the sacrifices of first responders on 9/11/2001 with a 43-mile ride through scenic country that included two challenging hill climbs and a covered bridge symbolizing the Twin Towers and the tunnel. Each year more friends joined the remembrance ride and it was decided to share this picturesque route and support the mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and establish this ride as an annual fundraising event.
The original ride passed by the Woodstone Country Club. Woodstone, too, has a soft spot for 9/11 first responders—they proudly display a statue named, "Lunch Atop a Skyscraper," made from the steel recovered from the twin towers. What a perfect spot to start and finish the ride!
